Overview

What this service actually is.

We are a licensed household goods broker and coordinator, not a global mobility firm. When your company is relocating an employee within the United States, we coordinate the actual move: a dedicated TruMove coordinator, a vetted carrier crew, and a truck that shows up on the day it said it would.

No policy engines, no tiered programs, no quarterly reporting decks. HR or the employee books the move; we handle the rest.

Cost-center and expense-code tagging on every line item
Certificate of Insurance issued to HR or the destination building
COI compliance with high-rise and corporate-campus move-in rules
Lump-sum receipts formatted for expense platforms (Concur, Ramp, Expensify)
W-9 and vendor onboarding docs delivered day one

How it works

A predictable move, step by step.

  1. HR authorization

HR sends us the employee's name, origin, destination, and target dates. TruMove confirms the scope of the move the company is paying for.

  2. Employee intake

A dedicated coordinator reaches the employee within one business day and books the survey around their calendar, not ours.

  3. Move day

The carrier executes the pack and load. The employee reviews the manifest; the coordinator handles anything that needs an HR decision in real time.

  4. Delivery

Unloaded to the employee's new home, with any COI or building rules the destination property manager requires already on file.

  5. Billing

One itemized invoice per move goes directly to the AP contact HR named at intake, tagged with the employee, PO, and cost center. No monthly statements to chase.

FAQ

Answers before you ask.

The questions we get most often about employee moving & corporate relocation services.

Do you handle international moves?

No. We coordinate employee moves within the United States. If your relocation is international, we are not the right fit.

Do you offer home sale, rental, or temporary housing help?

No. We are a licensed moving broker and coordinator. We coordinate the physical move; HR or the employee arranges housing separately.

Can you bill the company directly?

Yes. HR provides billing contact and PO if needed, and TruMove sends one itemized invoice per move directly to the company.

Do you support lump-sum relocations?

Yes. If the company gives the employee a lump sum, the employee books directly and TruMove sends itemized receipts they can submit for reimbursement.

Ready to plan your employee moving & corporate relocation services?
